Shhh...don't tell anyone, but Dartmoor is one of England's best kept secrets.
When thousands of people flock to Devon each summer, very few venture onto Dartmoor.
Known for it's spectacular coastline, visitors tend to gather there...
I don't blame them, I really don't. The cliffs of north Devon are a little piece of heaven.
But, if you don't like crowds, Dartmoor is the place for you.
The distinctive rock formations, called Tors are scattered around the undulating moorland.
It's hard to describe the scale of these granite monoliths.
Our girls used to love scrambling around on them,
or even, in them, giving each Tor a name, while we sat and took in the view.
We don't get to Devon as much as we used to, but it's still in our hearts, and those giant rocks will be waiting for us when we get back there.
Where do you dream of in these dark winter days?
