You see this smiling wee face?
That's me circa 1977, sooooo happy because I had just climbed to the top of the stairs... a big milestone.
I was lucky, I had a lovely childhood. Some of my happiest memories are of sitting on the work surface 'helping' my mum cook with Jimmy Young playing on the radio.
You see as we grow up, life happens... we have to leave the comfort of a 1970s kitchen in suburban Cheshire and discover the world... which, if you are a chronic introvert, can be an overwhelming place.
So to celebrate 50 years of being in this world & surviving, and dare I say it, thriving, I have pulled together a selection of artworks, available to buy here.
Some are capturing moments & memories of places which mean something...
...like this print of Pew Tor on Dartmoor, a place our children used to scamper up when they were small.

And of Watergate Bay in Cornwall...
which we re-visited again after 10 years.
And, some are simply celebrating the wonder of the natural world...

and this whopper print of a cow parsley, one of England's late spring treats.
There are two artworks which include some tiny stitched details,
capturing the imaginary trails the swallows leave behind when they are twirling & swooping in the warm evening sky in Mallorca.
And there are series of mini prints inspired by the Lake District.
